Confidence in Every Quake
Almost all buildings in Japan are built to earthquake-resistant standards that allow them to “break” in the event of a major earthquake.
Large earthquakes, which are a force of nature, can sometimes exceed the expectations of seismic standards, so we have worked hard to make our lives as resilient as possible to earthquakes.
The high-seismic resistance standard “TSUYOKU” that was formulated by gathering these thoughts is a true high-seismic resistance standard that goes beyond earthquake resistance standards and aims not only to “prevent collapses” but also to “prevent collapses and Major-Damage”.

A new standard aimed at “Preventing Major-Damage”
We want to dispel the overestimation that “as long as you follow the Building-Standards, your house is safe” which is prevalent in Japan, the most seismically active country in the world, and make it possible for everyone to choose a highly earthquake-resistant house as a matter of course.
From this desire, “TSUYOKU” was born.
By “The new standard aimed at ‘Preventing Major-Damage’”, “The visualization of disaster damage levels through seismic simulation”, and “The highly earthquake-resistant house”, we achieve to build a highly earthquake-resistant house.
The reason of strength

JAPAN’S QUALITY
Although Japan has an extremely high rate of earthquakes, it is a rare country with a dense population, so Japan had no choice but to make its buildings stronger compared to other countries. The foundation of TSUYOKU is Japan’s world-class earthquake resistance standards, which have evolved every time a major earthquake occurs.

TSUYOKU CRITERIA
TSUYOKU’s goal is to create houses that exceed earthquake resistance standards and do not cause major damage. At the same time, we repeatedly conduct case study analysis and estimate construction costs necessary for high earthquake resistance, and create optimal designs from both earthquake resistance and cost perspectives. Furthermore, by calculating the “response displacement” required in the analysis of skyscrapers and visualizing the level of damage to buildings, we aim to create buildings that can continue to be lived in even after a disaster.

PROFESSIONAL
Although we professional engineers are not in the spotlight from the public, we have been honestly working on “earthquake-resistant design” for the people living in Japan, a country prone to earthquakes. Without forgetting our high ethical standards, we continue to practice our “engineering judgment” and strive to further develop the seismic technology that has been passed down from our predecessors.

GUIDELINES
In the past, many social problems in the construction industry have always occurred in structural frameworks. This is because architectural structures are highly specialized and it is difficult to notice structural abnormalities, and if they are covered with finishing, they will be hidden and cannot be seen. At TSUYOKU, we eliminate individualism in both design quality and on-site quality and use strict guidelines to ensure quality control that reduces errors and variations.
